After placing your order and reserving your date with a 50% deposit, we will send you careful shipping instructions and tips to ensure your flowers safe delivery to our studio. Fresh bouquets need to be shipped overnight ( at your expense) no later than 48 hours after the wedding! The longer the flowers wait to be dried the higher the risk of wilting and bruising. You can also inquire about drying your own flowers, we will supply you with simple instructions to do so.
Local customers can arrange drop off at our studio in White Hall, MD!
As soon as your flowers arrive we get to work! Our turnaround time is about 15 weeks but can vary on the time of year. Once the resin is cured we will ship your items for an additional charge. We ship within the USA. Local customers can arrange pick up at our studio in White Hall, MD!
Please reach us at homesteadweddingsandevents@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
It is important to keep your bouquet hydrated on the day of the event. Do not toss your bouquet, we suggest ordering a toss or possibly tossing a maid bouquet. When not in use keep the bouquet in a vase up until shipping. Some bruising is unavoidable and will add character to your finished pieces.
Yes, we have preserved flowers as old as 13 years old! If you have a bouquet that’s packed away we can create a beautiful work of art that you can display. If you are unsure if we can preserve your flower you can send pictures to homesteadweddingsandevents@gmail.com
We will send you a simple, step-by-step document explaining how to get your flowers to us safely and quickly. We ship across the US but are based in White Hall, MD.
We do have a local drop-off/pickup option which is preferred for the condition of the flowers. Just shoot us an email at homesteadweddingsandevents@gmail.com to arrange details.
No, we can not preserve succulents, hypericum berries, dusty miller. Due to high water content in these ( along with others) blooms they will not dry well and we will omit them. Feel free to send silk succulents along with your bouquet and we will be happy to incorporate those.
Upon arrival, we will assess every one of your flowers carefully and will pick the most beautiful and healthy blooms/greenery to include in your designs! If you are wanting to get the most out of your flowers, we suggest upgrading the size of the resin block. We do not ship extra flowers back.
It is very important to NOT place your bouquet in the freezer or fridge! A residential-grade fridge is not good for your flowers and a freezer is simply too cold! After removing your flowers from a freezer, the flowers will droop, rot and mold very quickly. We do not accept bouquets that have been placed in the freezer, however no need to fear if you have done this already! Simply call your florist and ask them to make a mini version of your wedding bouquet, and we can preserve that!
